Xylem Water Solutions Austria is one of Austria’s leading manufacturers and as part of ITT one of the word's largest suppliers of pumps and systems to transport, treat and control water and waste water, water treatment and industrial applications. The company's policy is based on the ethical guidelines, economic principles and objectives of ITT, quality policies to satisfy our customers and environmental responsibility.

Only high quality and continuous improvement ensures leadership. Therefore the company already in 1993 successfully went through the globally recognized ISO 9001 certification process.
It is mandatory for us to satisfy our customers needs. To achieve this objective our employees as well as our suppliers have to perform on highest level day by day to meet customer expectations.

Environmental objectives
Respect means also protecting the environment surrounding. For this reason, Xylem Water Solutions Austria has always been actively involved in monitoring industrial waste and emissions deriving from production cycles and dealing in a responsible way with resources. This led to undergoing the certification of environmental management according to ISO 14001 in 2011.
This section describes the essential features of the ISO 14000 standard:
- Identify and control the environmental impact of all activities, products and services.
- Improve the environmental performance continually.
- Implement a systematic approach by setting environmental objectives to continuously reduce negative environmental impact by preventive actions.

Safety objectives
Xylem Water Solutions Austria always paid highest attention to all aspects regarding health and safety of their employees. One of the guiding principles outlined in the "Value Charter" is the respect for environment and persons. To reach these goals, we recognize the great importance of environment, safety and health programs requiring safe machinery and suitable personal protection for employees.
To ensure a high level of safety, Xylem Water Solutions Austria does not only comply with the prevailing legal national standard, but also apply internal regulations and procedures.
Major programs are:
- Work place evaluations which have been set up with our indoor health physician
- Xylem Water Solutions Austria strictly pursues the worldwide ITT goal "Zero Accidents"
- The main objective of ESH is to provide appropriate information and training, and enforce healthy working conditions

The long-established safety committee with participation of the safety engineer, safety confidant, physician, Workers’ Council, management and area managers is constantly working on maintenance and improvement of labour safety.
